Luciano Onetti and Nicolás Onetti, directors of Los Olvidados (2018) and Abrakadabra (2018), are back with 1978, a new genre film set in one of the darkest periods of Argentine history with an unexpected and supernatural twist.
The script for “1978” is a collaboration between Luciano and Nicolás Onetti, along with Camilo Zaffora. This work continues the line of previous works by the brothers, who have gained notoriety for their ability to mix classic elements of horror cinema with plots deeply rooted in Argentine history and culture.
